Emily was picked by her school's head lady to lead the opening prayer at the first chapel of the school year. Ms. Susan told us that Emily said the cutest thing to her, and so she knew Emily had to be the one to help her lead the prayer. We later found out that Emily saw Ms. Susan in the first week of school and said, "hey! you're the lady who does chapel". That's real nice to say to the principal. They practiced every day before the big Tuesday. Tuddie and Granddaddy happened to be in town. We were set and ready. It became pretty apparent that Emily didn't realize the entire school would be sitting there watching her and Ms. Susan. She basically just stared out into the crowd. We have it on video at least! We were proud of her for making it through. She was such a big girl.
