Tummy Time Again

The playmat was put out in the girls' room yesterday. Of course, Emily thought it was for her. She wanted to take a nap on it. This morning she and Freddie enjoyed some tummy time together.

Pancakes & Pajamas

Emily's school had a fall party on Friday. It was a pancakes and pj's party. Emily put on lots of tattoos, played under the rainbow tarp and shot some hoops. We had a good time having fun with her. Freddie stayed behind at the house, but still wore her pj's in support of her big sis.

Due Date

Today was Freddie's due date. I can't imagine how she would have fit!

Big Helper

Emily really is good at helping with Freddie. She ALWAYS wants to hold her. She brings me diapers for changing even without asking! When Freddie cries, Emily says, "It's okay. It's okay" in a high pitched voice over and over again. It is all very sweet. Emily even helped Daddy give Freddie her first bottle. It seemed like a nice birthday treat for Daddy:) I hope these sisters stay close forever!

Jaundice!

Well, Freddie gave us a little scare after her doctor's visit on Friday. It turns out her bilirubin levels were a little high. Although the doctor wasn't overly concerned they still recommended a little phototherapy with this special blue light. After today's visit, we found out her levels of bilirubin are dropping off and we can stop the phototherapy all together. Whew!

Here's the phototherapy wrap under normal lighting.

Don't look at the blue light!

G-Pa and G-Ma Visit

Grandaddy finally got released from the hospital on Thursday, and boy was he excited to be off his back. It meant he finally had a chance to see Emily and his newest grandchild, Freddie. And we all know that Grandma Tuddie was excited to see little Freddie since they now share a name. Thanks for hanging out for a while! See you guys soon!

E&F - Family of Four

What an exciting week for us. Freddie arrived at 10:16 am on Monday morning. It was a rather easy delivery. She was 8 lbs 3 oz and 20 3/4 inches. We are still in disbelief that we had a girl. It is wonderful. Emily had been telling us she wanted a baby sister. Guess she knew all along. She has been absolutely wonderful with her little sister. Everything is going great.!
