We took the girls to the sibling tour of the hospital where their new brother or sister will be born. Freddie really loved seeing the new babies in the nursery. Emily liked learning how to "swallow" or swaddle. Both girls are going to make great big sisters. They both are leaning towards having a brother. Emily said, "I think it is a boy. There are already too many girls in this house".

Getting Ready
We took the girls to the sibling tour of the hospital where their new brother or sister will be born. Freddie really loved seeing the new babies in the nursery. Emily liked learning how to "swallow" or swaddle. Both girls are going to make great big sisters. They both are leaning towards having a brother. Emily said, "I think it is a boy. One on One Again
Steven has been itching to go back skiing for a few years now. Emily was at the right age to hit the slopes for the first time. So they headed to Colorado for a little father/daughter time. Freddie and Mommy stayed behind to make our own fun. Emily loved skiing and thought it was a wonderful time. Freddie enjoyed getting her own personal Mommy 1:1 time for the first time ever. It was a great weekend, but we all were happy to be back together again.
Kemah Bound
Emily loves amusement rides. We wanted to take the girls down to Kemah to check out the park they have down there. It was great because Nama was in town. We had plenty of help. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Daddy endured more spins and turns than his stomach would prefer, but both girls had a great time. We were glad to have such a special day.
Better late than never?
We are never going to be able to catch up posting all that was missed in the last few months. We'll just say that the holidays were a blast and very busy. We're keeping busy preparing for the new addition to the family. Here is a video of Freddie from Christmas singing away and one of Emily from her end of year ballet/tap show. The holidays were full of singing and dancing.
Happy New Year!
