Heads Up

Freddie is really good at picking her head up now. It is frustratingly cute to try and get her to nap. She looks cute even from across the room.

Emily loves taking care of her baby doll more than ever these days. We're sure a lot of little girls have copied their mom and pretended to nurse their dolls. Emily is no exception. She is very detailed about the process. She goes and gets comfortable with the boppy. She makes sure to remove her nursing pad. Then she goes ahead and feeds her baby. When you ask her what she's doing she says, "I'm feeding my baby, but I dont' have regular milk. I have chocolate milk". Hilarious.

Bottle Holder

Anna told us Freddie could hold her own bottle. It was even cuter to see in person.

Petting Zoo Party

We went to a birthday party that had a petting zoo last weekend. Emily loved the baby lamb. She followed her wherever she went. She wanted nothing to do with the pony though. Maybe we can get her on it next time. One of the birthday girls hangs out with our girls during the weekdays. When she was a baby, Emily could not get enough of her. Now that girl can't get enough of Freddie.

Park People

If the weather is nice out, we typically try to take a trip to the park. Our girls love to go there and just be outside.

Sharing the Attention

When we are playing with Freddie, Emily finds the need to either join us or redirect the attention to her. During Freddie's first solid food feeding, Emily wanted to do a photo shoot. Here it is.

Freddie's First Food

Freddie is loving to eat solids. She gobbles them all right up. We definitely feel that she makes little to no mess. She even eats dinner with us. We're looking forward to trying all sorts of food.

Freddie's First Tooth!

Parents are always excited about their children's various milestones, but when your dad is a dentist, the most important milestone is that first tooth. Here is a great picture of Freddie's first tooth. It is very close up because I used my dental photo lens for the shot.

Watch out for those warts...

Emily attended her first benefit on Saturday. It was a frog conservation benefit at the Houston Zoo. She got to dress up in her favorite princess outfit, eat some delicious dessert, meet Snow White, get her face and hands painted, and kiss a pretend frog. Her favorite part was coming home to see her prince (Daddy) and work in the yard with him!
