We had a lot going on in this week's swim lesson day. Emily is getting further into her float test. Last night she was thrown into the middle of the pool and had to either float for 5 minutes or get to the side and stand up (she was thrown in by that colored structure). She floated for about 2-3 minutes and managed to get to the side (she is that litle pink blob in the first pic). She had to do this with her sandals, shorts and tshirt on as well. Next week she goes in with the same attire except pants instead of shorts. It is really cute because all of the teachers stop and cheer complete with cowbells. Last night was also Freddie's first swim lesson. She liked it....for the first 10 minutes. The next ten minutes were not as thrilling. To her credit, she was really tired because she did not nap most of the day. We think she'll be a water bug in no time.
