Hot Time in the City

It is sooooo hot and muggy out these days. Trips to the park are a rare occurrence. The girls still enjoy a fun time on the swings. Emily is now getting to the point where she also wants to push Freddie. She is a big girl in case you didn't know.

Clapping Machine

Anytime Freddie hears music, she starts clapping. It is really cute. The videos don't quite show her full clapping capabilities because she gets easily distracted. We love how excited she gets to show off her clapping. Now when we pray (and sometimes sing) before dinner, she thinks it is time to clap. We love to watch her smile and clap!

Movie Time

We took Emily to her first movie in a movie theater (TS3). She loved everything about it. We got her the kid's snack pack. The only option we saw for her was orange soda. She didn't like that and made Steven go get her water. The candy was right up her alley though. She did really well and sat still the whole time. It was a lot of fun.

More Fun at the Table

We are having a lot more fun eating dinner at the table and out at restaurants. Freddie can sit up pretty well and grabs her own cheerios. Emily eats like a champ. It is a fun time. This was one of those occasions.

New Rock Band

Ever since Landry's party, we have had to have parades, dances and concerts all the time. Emily pretty much dictates what instrument everyone has to play. Freddie typically gets something that shakes. We are sure to go on tour soon. We're just waiting for Freddie's carrot nose to subside. We'll let you know when that happens. It may be a while because that girl loves carrots.

Croatia Trip

We finally took our trip. We had a lot of fun. The girls didn't know what to think about us leaving. These expressions pretty much sum up their opinions. Luckily, skpe helped us stay in touch every day. It was great.

Pit stop on a Texas Roadtrip

We were a pitstop on a roadtrip taken by some Vaughan cousins and Tuddie. We were happy to see them and visit. Emily loves hanging out with her cousins. She loves go to the pool. This time we got to have the cousins at the pool. She was in heaven. Freddie even got to try pizza crust for the first time. Emily was sad when they had to leave. Luckily Nema arrived that day to keep her company.
